Social Services and Utilization Review coordinate services to help ensure quality care for each patient, such as:  financial arrangements, child welfare, healthcare benefits, outpatient consulting, elderly services, hospitality care, discharge planning, and arranging post-hospital care.  Social Services also helps with emotional concerns such as long term illness, rehabilitation, terminal illness, mental health counseling and therapy,  alcohol and other addiction problems and abuse.
